Medeline's first day of preschool hadn't gone at all well. She just couldn't seem to do anything right and - worst of all - she hadn't made a single friend.

She wouldn't have minded so much had the other children been mean to her - laughed at her dress or scribbled all over her pictures or something. But...

They didn't even get the chance.

Sometimes - just sometimes - Medeline wished she weren't a Gorgon.

(Full view is pretty darn helpful)

(Also - that's her nose, not her mouth)

(Also also - she's in an alley, not a classroom!)

(Also also also - No, this will not be a movie.)

I love the fact one of the snakes is eating a mouse! Brillient.Very subtle, I like it!

And her expression is so sad, moving in fact. Being a small child can suck at the best of times, but i imagine being a gorgon is a right bugger!
