A strange, silent little girl turns up out of nowhere on a stormy day with only a name tag to identify her. Luckily, a kindly older couple takes her in, but for Ida and the people of Catterwall, this is where the luck ends. It seems everywhere Ida goes, misfortune is soon to follow. And it's about to get much worse.
ETA: WOO YEAH! I got a DD! Thank you! Part 1 of 2. (Part 2 is here) FAQ's (because I know you're gonna ask 'em): Who's the narrator? Tim Jones Who's the music by? Kevin MacLeod, mostly (including a performance of Bach's "Sheep May Safely Graze"), with the opening theme performed by the RFCM Symphony Orchestra - Saint-Saens' "Carnival of the Animals - Aquarium". All the music is royalty-free. Did you write this? For better or worse - yes. This sounds like Lemony Snicket. You wouldn't think so if it were narrated by a Texan. (And it wasn't.) Your narrator needs a better mic. Flash needs to stop crashing when I try to publish this movie with a higher audio compression rate. (Probably my PC's fault.) Update: Was able to improve the audio quality a smidge. Probably the best we can do, for now. I don't get it!! Wait for part 2. Daily DeviationGiven 2007-07-04Ida's Luck - Part 1 is possibly *crookedsixpence's finest project to date. It contains all the right things; a great story, good visuals and a good soundtrack to acompany it. What will happen next? Who knows! But I for one can't wait to find out.
