Ida's history and the source of her misfortune is revealed at last.
Part 2 of 2.
(It helps if you've seen this first. There may be some audio syncing issues. I can't tell anymore. I've had one heck of a time trying to get this thing ready.)
FAQ's (hey, somebody's gonna ask)
Who's the narrator?
Tim Jones
Who's the music by?
Mostly Kevin MacLeod along with a performance by the RFCM Symphony Orchestra of Saint-Saens' "Carnival of the Animals VII - The Aquarium". All the music is royalty-free.
Did you write this?
Yes, ma'am. I'm sorry, ma'am.
Is Ida based on the character of the same name from The Gashlycrumb Tinies?
(I was asked this a lot after Part 1)
Despite the obvious similarities, it really was just a coincidence. This story was originally set in Depression-era Mississippi, so I gave everyone southern names. When the setting changed, I decided to keep her name as it was because, heck, I just liked it. Remember I said this because one day I'll be super-duper famous and totally change my story. (Yes, I'm kidding.)
Cheer up, emo kid.
I just had to beat you guys to the punch on that one.
Fantastic!!! I was kept at the edge of my seat throughout the entire story! Excellent narrator and animation. This is the best flash animation I've ever seen on devART.
